There's a nice article on A's teams of yesteryear (I mean, way back) and of old A's baseball cards. A nice read.
About shipping: I've seen some pretty crazy schemes on ebay where people are charged a lot of money for shipping. I won't do that. What I will commit to is to package your item the way you'd like me to and to ship it the way you want me to ship it, then charge you whatever it cost me to send it to you in the manner that you'd like. I'll even scan a copy of the receipt and send it to you. If the item sells for more than $10 I insist on delivery confirmation, which usually requires priority mail, I think. Unfortunately, I have to list some type of shipping fee, up front, in order for me to post this for auction. Because of that, if there's a shipping cost listed, I've made one up that is higher than what I'd expect it to be. In checkout, please pay the amount and let me know how you'd like me to ship it to you and I'll follow through, send the receipt to you and will refund the difference to you, based upon the receipts. I've got too much invested in ebay to try to mess up my reputation over a couple of dollars. For further reference, please review my feedback. Aside from one, um .... trying to find the right word ... seller (that's probably safest), I've had 100% positive feedback for years.
About me: I'm packing up and moving soon. I've found a few items around the home that I'd like to pass on to someone who may enjoy them. I am posting all items for $0.01 to start and am putting my faith in ebayers to set an appropriate price. Obviously, at one cent, I'd lose out, considering ebay posting fees and paypal fees, but I'm willing to risk it.
