This is a lot of 12 Babe Ruth Louisville Slugger 100th Anniversary Home Run Bats. The bat measures 36 inches long. This bat was issued to honor the 100th Anniversary of the Babe's birth. This 100th Anniversary model also boasts the same R-43 "model specification" that Babe always required on his bats. The "R" turning model specification formally designates the complete shape of the bat from knob to barrel end. The Babe Ruth 100th Anniversary professional bat includes a 24kt gold-layered Babe Ruth Proof Commemorative inset in the grip end and each bat bears a unique registration number. The number of bats issued is limited to only 714 for each of the 22 years Babe Ruth played professional baseball.
